  3. Erm I'll try
    This is from http://www.childrensvision.com/reading.htm

    1) Both are types of visual perception .
-Visual memory is the ability to immediately recall and given object using means of short term memory only. They may have problem in comprehension for example, in ability to recognize same word in another page
    - Visual sequential memory is ability to remember a form in a correct sequence. Those with this problem may need to talk(subvocalize) as they write

    2) Erm, i don't understand what the question wants. But from the test we can see the extend of patients ability in visual memory and visual sequential memory. Is it a vision therapy as the question ask how it can improve the visual skill?

  4. Copying from a reliable source:
-Visual memory:the ability to recall an object once it has been
    removed from sight.

-The development of visual memory skills is a
    step-by-step developmental process. As children
grow and develop, their ability to recall
    information will develop also.

    - It is essential that children have the ability
    to see...BEFORE...they learn to read.

    - The lack of these skills doesn't CAUSE learning disabilities...however, they can mask as ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Disabilities, and Behaviour Disorders.

  6. Good... sorry for the emosional comment... Having problem with posting just now..

    1) visual memory and visual sequential memory is a visual perception.
-Visual memory is the ability of the person to remember form of an object through short term memory. Those with this problem will have problem in comprehension where they can't remember the same words that they read from previous page.

    - Visual sequential memory is their ability to remember sequence of form of object in form origanally presented. For example, patient with the problem will tend to subvocalize(whisper or talk aloud) what they write.

    2) It will help the patient improve in their visual perception?

  10. visual memory..erm, something interesting..
it is a kind of process which can be developed or enhanced by experience and skill. Without a good development of visual memory, it is extremely difficult for students especially, to learn because visual memory is essential for learning. It is the skill that helps to store and retrieve information.=)

    the answer in layman term:

Q1)visual memory= something that we can recall back after we see that thing.

visual sequence=allows to remember/ recall back the order or sequence of things that we see.

Q2)YES, I have done it.. it seems like we have to focus every single image and its sequence.. we have to have skills in order to remember the images.. selamat mencuba kawan2..best2.. =)

  12. guys..pls post ur score here..

good answer nana, zahirah n aida...the question is very straight forward...we never learn this test before..

now we know the existence of these test..for us normal people, memorizing what we saw might be easier compared to autistic & dyslexic patient..

repeated examination improve our visual skills in remembering the sequence and the form of an object..

  13. 1. oke now i know the answer for number 1. thanks guys.

2.my score is 15/17 for the first part and 16/17 for the second part.

  16. wah eli, you get a high score. Mine are 12/17 and 10/17.

    1) visual memory is sort of an ability of one person to keep remember on one particular thing and figure, and express them correctly in a given time.

visual sequential memory. it is more likely to be the same as visual memory but in a sequence of words/figure. when they are asked to do a sequential task, we can look some of the word in a sequence of sentence/figure are actually missing.

    2) to improve patient's visual memory, we can teach them by familiarize themselves to the task/objects. In a given time. Keep incresing the difficulty of the task. until a level that satisfy the normal score and target. Doing this test, by repetation on each visit, can improve visual memory

  17. visual memory : the ability to recall an abject after it shown in a givemn time...this test is important to improve our ability to 'see' ideas and generate ideation sketches quickly

visual sequential skill : a visual skill that allows us to remember the order or sequence of items that we see

this test can train them to memorize something through visual memory...

  18. sorry for a late response...
    my score:-
    part 1 : 17/17
    Part 2 : 13/17
from this, it can be concluded that not everyone has good visual memeory and visual sequence...
each individual has his own ability, differs frm others...

it was stated that those visual skill tests were used examine autism or dyslexia pts...

yet, may I noe the normal value for the test if there is any....

  19. salam...

Visual memory involves the ability to store and retrieve previously experienced visual sensations and perceptions when the stimuli that originally evoked them are no longer present. visual memory is important aspect in learning process.

Visual sequential memory allows to remember sequences of shapes in order. This type of memory is useful if you need to remember a telephone number or the correct spelling of a word. Problems with visual sequential memory can affect one's ability to read.

    =)

    very interesting test!

is it a good idea to perform visual memory and visual sequential memory test can when screening at primary school ? may be it takes time but these test can be useful though in term of those who having learning problem, so that we can know their visual memory status and help them to improve.

  23. all of your answer is right..congratulation and thank you for the response..

    here are the result:

    >14: excellent visual memory

    10-14: mild visual memory disability
